Electroshock is included in here as a protest rather then as a serious endorsement. Electrodes placed on the skull can drop up to 450 volts across the brain in an attempt to induce a gran mal seizure. It is still legal and still used.

The most highly developed and complicated system ever encountered in the history of humanity, the human brain, and were taking a sledge hammer to it. With the continued advances in TMS, electroshock is as outdated as blood letting.
